TWL Author Talks Welcomes Guest Author Carole Whang Schutter

Today TWL Author Talks welcomes a special guest. Carole Whang Schutter (pronounced Shutter) wrote the screenplay and historical romance novel "September Dawn". The screenplay became a movie directed by Christopher Cain and starring Jon Voight, Trent Ford, Tamara Hope, and one of my favorite actors, Dean Cain. "September Dawn" was in theaters last fall and the DVD release is scheduled for this month. To coincide with the DVD release, Carole wrote the novel "September Dawn", which was published by Author House.

"September Dawn" is a a Romeo and Juliet type romance set against the events that lead up to the Mountain Meadows Massacre in 1857, where 120 men, women, and children on a wagon train bound for California were slaughtered by a group of Mormons. It is the unfolding love story of Jonathan Samuelson, the son of a Mormon bishop, and Emily Hudson, a pastor's daughter.

Carole will be with us today to answer your questions about the movie, the novel, and writing in general. To join TWL Author Talks please use the following link: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TWLAuthorTalks/

COMING SOON: Carole's January 15th radio interview with Betty Jo at Movie Addict Headquarters http://www.blogtalkradio.com/movieaddictheadquarters and her interview with Marilyn Peake at The Golden Goblet http://groups.yahoo.com/group/marilynpeake/ on January 17th.
