Innovative features Judy Gregerson and "Bad Girls Club"

Innovative: A Word for the WriTeen is a miniezine (very short e-zine) published once a week on the web. Innovative's goal is to entertain, enlighten and encourage teens that write and those who help them do it. They're one of the very few writing zines specifically for teenagers and teen writing.

In this week's issue, they interview Judy Gregerson, author of "Bad Girls Club". This is the story of a teen living with her mentally ill mother, her abused little sister, and her ineffective and totally clueless dad. The main character, Destiny, has become the mother of the family. She cares for and protects her little sister and she does her best to help her mother “get well”. She takes care of the house and she is determined that she isn’t leaving the house until everything is right again.
