The Book Marketing Network

For book/ebook authors, publishers, & self-publishers

Here's what's going on in the life of this writer during the last days of pre-pub status.

Blogged for HerCircleEzine.com (stop over there. It’s a very hip little site.)

Queried two blog sites for potential “guest blog” opportunities

Received a rejection letter for a short story submission sent months ago. Great timing, magazine editor! Way to remind an author she needs to stay humble.

Launched scobberlotch.blogspot.com for the purposes of posting diary (and opining on anything I want, okay?) For some reason, I felt too restricted by the other TEN places I blog. And what the heck is a scobberlotch (assuming you think that’s a noun). Go there and check it out if you so desire.

Pried stuck PlayDoh from crevices in dining table. Okay, this has nothing to do with the writer’s life. But PlayDoh plays a big role in my life, so why not?

In book promotion news, I did an interview with my HOA (Home Owner’s Association) editor about my book release. It’s no Dallas Morning News, but it’s fun to be the “resident of the moment” in your neighborhood. And, word to the wise, this is a good way to rally all your neighbors to your book signing in one fell swoop.

So that's the wrap-up. More later as the big day approaches.
