The Book Marketing Network

For book/ebook authors, publishers, & self-publishers

My book Actress has been accepted by two different translation sites, to be translated into Simplified Chinese on one and Spanish on the other.

The sites are Babelcube, which is translating the book into Spanish, and Fiberead, which is translating it into Chinese.

Both sites work on a shared-split basis, whereby the translators and I share any profits. I don't pay anything, though of course I've written the book, and the translators put in their time in hopes of getting a return on their efforts. I've had questions back from both sets of translators which, in the nature of these things, are bound to be comic, especially as Actress is written in a terse literary style using dialogue that is sometimes even terser. I have a lot of sympathy for folks trying to work out exactly what's being said.

Coincidentally, this weekend I've put Actress into the Kindle KDP program and enabled it to be sold for free from 15th - 19th August. Click on the image to be taken to an Amazon store near you.

It's been Free for a day and it's already reached no.2 on the US Amazon free download list for Literary Fiction and no.3 for Women's Fiction. It's no.1 in Australia!
