- Something About Me and My Book:
- I'm currently staying in France and I'm finishing my fourth crime novel, The Bleak. It's the latest in a series featuring my character Sam Dyke, a no-nonsense private investigator based in the north of England. I've also written Actress, about a young actress trying to find her way and her career in London.

An exciting experience
My book Actress has been accepted by two different translation sites, to be translated into Simplified Chinese on one and Spanish on the other.
The sites are Babelcube, which is translating the book into Spanish, and Fiberead, which is translating it into Chinese.
Both sites work on a shared-split basis, whereby the translators and I share any profits. I don't pay…
