DailyTip: My favorite exercise is the Lunge! It is such a powerful exercise that shapes and tones to bootay and legs working the quadriceps, hamstrings and glutes.Try 4 sets of 20 reps alternating each leg!

Daily Tip: The elliptical trainer: this nifty piece of fitness equipment is found in every gym! Its low impact but can offer a great workout! Try my cardio interval workout! Begin with 5-7min warmup, then increase to medium resistance, then increase resistance each minute, for 5 minutes and then start over, repeat interval 5 times, then cooldown for 5 min!

Daily Tip: Make Daily Notes: It helps to make daily food and workout notes of your progress to keep you on track with your goals, keep you accountable and will increase your success in reaching your goals. Add inspirational notes to keep you inspired as well!

Daily Tip! Eat Yo’ Breakfast! Breakfast is my favorite meal and the most important! Research has shown that people who eat breakfast regularly can better control their weight and are more successful in losing weight! Go on and make a quick breakfast! Here is my favorite! 1/2 cup of oatmeal with 1tbsp honey, a little cinnamon/nutmeg and 1/4 cup of fat free milk!

Daily Tip: Random Acts of Fitness: A random act of fitness can be anything from parking further away from buildings, to taking the stairs, or doing squats or chair pose over the public toilet as you focus on not hitting your bum on the seat! Random acts of fitness is just a quick burst of energy that will burn a few extra calories, boost energy, get the blood flowing again and will revive your alertness and energy. Every time go to the bathroom I will stretch and do squats, and calf raises. Sometimes I just use the stairs instead of the elevator, and I always focus on sitting up tall and focus on keeping abs in thru the day to strengthen core.

Daily Tip: Keep going! Sometimes it can be discouraging if you are not getting the results you are looking for, but weight loss is a process, it’s a journey. So keep going my friend! Keep eating healthy and keep exercising and make sure you are getting adequate rest! If you are about to give up or give in, you need to call me to get you to your goals!
Daily Tip: Try this healthy breakfast and mid-morning snack! 1 cup of cooked oatmeal with 2tbsp sliced almonds, and 1 tbsp raspberry preserves and treat you to a mid-morning snack of 2 squares of dark chocolate and 10 almonds.
