Definition of a Good Poem

If you have completed ten poems

and all of them are rejected by twenty

smart editors

Don’t despair

no honest guy has come out to show us

how a good poem can be written

A poem of about twenty lines

which fits nicely into an A 4 paper

Can be sold for US$20 at the least

and the highest price is US$100

Assuming that you are a god from heaven

and that you’re a guru of poets

Just by writing one poem per day

which is not difficult

You may earn US$3000 per month

This is enough for a comfortable life

in any city on this planet

What else do you want?

All self appointed poets

Even if no editors want to see them

surely you can send them to the

Lonely Club at Singapura

where the strange creatures would

read them,

They either enjoy them

or they are offended

Both ways, you have DONE your job
