For book/ebook authors, publishers, & self-publishers
What does the above have to do with writing? How many times have you read a passage where the sentences flow like music? Or a paragraph "paints" a picture of a scene that puts you right there? If the author does it right, it's music and art. A lot of us who write also play music, or in my case, create on canvas.
And there's a lot of be said for the similarities---composition, color, light, atmosphere---how many times have you heard it's important to create "atmosphere"? And composition becomes plotting, color can be the unusual characters you create, and light is what makes a a scene visible to the reader.
Do you have a more musical take on the subject? I'd like to hear it.
