Raising Teenagers:The Best Way

I was born in South Africa,  and due to marriage I moved to Croatia.

Nine years ago when I first came to Croatia I was blank in thought, not knowing much of the place, the language, or any other information.  This made me feel most unhappy, my life had changed like a light switch from brightness to darkness, but I didn't give up, I had to  move on though it took me a while before I got back on my feet, for  my son and I life had to get better. 

So much change which I had no idea of, it had made me a  stronger person in many ways, I have grown to live my life the way I choose to,  not of what others want of me, a mind of my own, and overtime I gained my strengths and never show my weaknesses because knowing what I do best overrides the weak points.

My new life is the reason for me writing like I do, English is my first language, and living in  small country like Croatia there is not many opportunities for  employment, being a foreigner in this country led me to go ahead and do what I enjoy at best, my writing.

My family is my happiness, a life that we experienced together as one, and love makes you do things you can never think of,  but in the end it all works out.

Accepting my new life is not easy, in my opinion,  the best way is to live for what makes you happy and when you got that right everything else falls in place.   It is very important to do what makes you feel good. Life in Croatia is challenging and I will continue to be strong-willed and powerful. 

From South Africa to Croatia, two different worlds, I never once thought I would be so far off from the rest of my family, but when I think of the good reasons  I realize it was a good decision. This is now a new beginning with the many changes, what is life without a change?
