The kind of reviews, (and effects) we can usually only dream of

I feel very proud and humble today as a result of the most wonderful reviews of Tilly's Tale and Dylan's Tale that have appeared at http://www.daddyandsonsviewpoint.blogspot.com/ The length of these reviews makes it impossible for me to give them justice here or to reproduce them in their entirety, but I hope you will pop along and take a look. These books were of course written with the intention of raising awareness of the plight of abused and neglected dogs, and to highlight the wonderful work done by those who rescue and care for them, and help find them new, loving homes. It appears the first two books in the series have certainly done that, as, in this case, the reviewers family have been so moved and affected by the books that they have all volunteered to work at their local dog shelter. I can only feel so very grateful that my books have had such an effect. I always said that if just one person decided to help rescue dogs as a result of my writing them, it would all have been worthwhile, and, well, I can only feel great happiness that this has been just one result that I know about.

Dylan's Tale can be obtained from

 Barnes & Noble

also from Amazon.com and from Amazon.co.uk and 4RV Publishing

and many other book sellers, and the first book in the series, the award winning Tilly's Tale is available from all the same resources, simply by clicking on the Harry Porter name and following it to the list of Harry's books.

Thanks, Mary.

Yes, it is rather wonderful isn't it? And yes, I'd love it of the books were to become family favorite around the world, but I'm especially gratified by the fact that even one family has decided to volunteer their services to their local shelter after reading the books. That, to me, makes the whole thing so worthwhile.

Wow, Brian, those are some wonderful comments. I especially like the one about the book becoming a family favorite.
