A review by Sally Watkins, Boulder CO

It has been 25 years since Peggy Warren published her book “Very Much a Woman’s Book”. Since then more than 20,000 copies of the book have been sold. The publication of this collection of poems and drawings  has a very interesting story behind it. It all began when Peggy went to a bookstore to get a meaningful book for a friend who was turning fifty and was newly divorced. The result of her visit to the store is found on her website www.peggywarren.com, but how Peggy got to create the poems in the first place is what I found particularly   interesting.
