The United States of Oinkesity

Obesity is one of the most pressing health problems in the United States, and it will soon become the country’s leading cause of heart disease, stroke, and diabetes. So, guess which country has the highest obesity rate in the world?

Two out of every three Americans are considered to be overweight or obese. That’s over 200 million Americans! No wonder we keep on seeing obese people riding on Wal-Mart scooters. Heck, even American pets are obese. What are these people feeding them?

If you ask random strangers what they had for breakfast you’ll probably hear a lot of them say “bacon”. In fact, bacon is in everything these days, and some of these products are quite ridiculous (Bacon cologne and toothpaste, look them up). Ask a random American what he had today and he’ll probably answer, “Well, I had bacon for breakfast, pork chop for lunch, and steak for dinner.” If this is your daily diet then your arteries are probably clogged right now and ready to burst.
