Xenophobic America

While the Statue of Liberty in Liberty Island beckons the world’s “huddled masses yearning to be free,” many Americans have made it known that they want nothing to do with immigrants, especially Hispanic immigrants. In fact, for a country founded by immigrants, the US sure hates them.

The United States of America is suppose to be a melting pot of cultures, but Americans don’t like the growing ethnic diversity and they are kicking it up a notch by turning this resentment into xenophobia. Hispanic-Americans, who legally immigrated to the US by the way, are now taking the brunt of xenophobia from the public.
