About CAT Exam
Common Admission Test (CAT) is rated as the third toughest test in Asia, after UPSC's Indian Engineering Services and IIT-JEE. The exam was started by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) who select students for their business administration programs. The test is conducted every year by one of the IIMs, based on the policy of rotation. There are several institutes who also take up the scores of CAT as a criterion for admissions to their management programmes.
