John Reed

 John F. Reeds a club DJ, Book Author, and Music/Entertainment Journalist and had been a Music Correspondent at the Boston Globe newspaper for many years. His music reviews have appeared in such national publications as: The Boston Globe, Hear/Say Magazine, MTV/SonicNet, DISCoveries Magazine, Music-News, and a host of others.

John is also a Club Disc Jockey in the Boston, MA area and has performed at some of the hottest nightclubs on Lansdowne Street, the Financial District, Commonwealth Ave., and Faneuil Hall.  John is known by his nickname as "Boston's Bad Boy DJ".  He was also a Radio DJ and had a weekly show on WMFO FM.

“Another Lousy Day In Paradise” (Trestle) is Johns first full length novel.  He is also the co-author of the digital short story,” Winter Hill Exhumed” (Trestle).

John resides in Boston, just a few miles from his hometown of Waltham. 

Big Daddy Abel

Hi! Introductions may be in order, yes? Only proper thing to do I think. I am Big Daddy Abel. A singer, guitar player, & entertainer. Usually my "job" is to entertain. Getting people to laugh, dance and sing and just have a good fun time. However, at times... my mind goes beyond that. It goes a little deeper and sometimes, as I've been told, a little TOO deep, (I used to be a school teacher in my former life. Shhh! Don't tell anyone.) Thank you for giving/sharing your time here with "my thoughts". I hope you feel something positive on the other end of it all. 

One of Big Daddy Abel favorite quotes “"So many people live within unhappy circumstances and yet will not take the initiative to change their situation because they are conditioned to a life of security, conformity, and conservatism, all of which may appear to give one peace of mind, but in reality nothing is more damaging to the adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future."
