Have you ever had one of those days where you have hundred jobs to do in just a few hours? Have you ever become overwhelmed by the tasks of the day to the point where nothing else seems to get done? Life has its very own way of showing us that we need to organize are priorities and establish a management system in our life. On a typical day with multiple tasks to be done what task comes first? This is a very hard choice for many individuals but the answer is quite simple what comes first is what is most important and what is achievable.
What is most important in life the answer is your relationship with God. Above all things if you put God first in your life anything that comes after him is guaranteed to be taken care of properly.
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.-Matthew 6:33
God is the creator of the universe and also God created us. There is not a task invented that God can’t handle properly but we must put him above all things. When it comes to marriage if God is not first in your marriage then you are robbing your family. Marriage should work similar to this you and your spouse both seeking God and his will and eventually the two of you will meet in the center forming a triangle with God being the highest point. God is the connection in your family he is the glue and he will show you how to manage your children and your relationship with your spouse. In times of crisis or when decisions need to be made quickly who can better help you make tough decisions than God himself. When employed God should come first and the result is you will be an honest employee who is reliable, trustworthy, diligent, loyal, and faithful to your job because you seek to display the character of God in the workplace. What about those days when you’re looking for a job or you have free time the answer is put God first. Imagine getting up looking for a job and you are catching a bus there are people on that bus that have never heard of the kingdom of God and on your way to look for jobs you can be doing a job for God.
The most essential part about organizational skill is setting achievable or measurable goals. There is no point in setting goals that can’t be completed it is a waste of time. A relationship with God is certainly the most achievable goal in the world and yet it is the most important. Jesus Christ came to earth in the flesh and died for our sins the barrier between man and God was removed. Jesus Christ reconciled mankind to God and now a relationship can be established because of the death of Jesus Christ. The key to it all is believing in your heart that Jesus Christ died for your sins, removed them completely on the cross. We must believe that he rose from the dead and established a place for us in heaven with the Father and trust in everything we say we believe in. Trust is the key to salvation but believing and trusting is two different things. The devil believes in Jesus and God but he will not receive salvation because he doesn’t trust in Jesus. The proof is in the pudding we have to live our life trusting in Jesus because if we don’t then we really don’t have a personal relationship with Christ. Pray, read your bible, and most important live according to your bible and trust what Jesus did on the cross is all you need to be saved and then people will know what comes first in your life.-Amen
