June jots down the threads and then we do a round-robin via email and encapsulate the conversation. We had a real blow-out last week, I think that's going to be posted in Sept. Sarah, our youngest member, sulked a bit at our critique of her short story. My throwing the pages in the air did NOT make the blog. Yes, I can do the tough-love thing. Feathers are now smoothed. Writing goes on.

A new post went up yesterday. We're posting on Mondays. Talk this time is about a local murder trial and contest strategies.

"The Land of Enchantment" is actually the state motto of New Mexico, which is why I put in it quotes. But now that I read it, it does sound like the title of a book I'm trying to promote. In fact, my book is "The Pot Thief Who Studied Pythagoras." And you are right, Ann, I love books written by natives of interesting locales because of the sense of place the impart.
