Hi Linda, it's so funny that you love to read poetry but don't think you could write it. I feel absolutely the same way about writing a novel. Something I'd like to do someday.... I've been in S Fla for 20 years but originally from the MD/VA area. Hubby & I are planning to return there in 5 years. Can't wait!

Hi Linda,

Thank you for the kind compliment and for accepting my friendship request. I have a good friend who also writes mystery/thrillers. He has also written many books as well. Good luck with your books as well, and I look forward to chatting with you more.

Hello Linda,

It's nice to meet someone that's so close to my side of the world! I too am a writer from Missouri. I really enjoyed your web site and your books sound great. I look forward to meeting you August 25th in Cape Girardeau at Barnes&Noble.

Linda---I look forward to tracking down your books--my favorite type to take a breather from my regular writing.

Thanks for the sweet words, Linda. :) Yes, Seattle's my kind of town -- a great book town full of readers! If you travel to promote your books, this is a place worth visiting. And then there's our beautiful new state-of-the-art Seattle Public Library . . . an artchitectural treasure! Blessings, Cec

Thank you, Linda, for your very kind words! I am not new to the internet stuff, just the ning.com stuff: the forums, blogs, etc. I never know where to post.

I spent hours yesterday on the main page forum and bookmarked so many member sites and webpages. I am TOTALLY overwhelmed! I thought I knew where I was and where I was going and what I was doing. Now I am not so sure. I am frustrated to say the least. Anyway, this too shall pass. Just need to take it a step at a time.

Thank you again!
Blessings from my spirit to your spirit!
