I'll certainly look forward to reading it, Sandra. And I'm happy you found a place for it.

Also, if you don't mind reading crime fiction, some with a touch of paranormal(but not all and not strongly),you might, if you haven't already, try something by James Lee Burke, especially his Dave Robicheaux stories. They're set in south La. and feature a sheriff's detective with a colorful past.

Hi, Sandra,

I didn't read the entire above synopsis, but what I did of it sounds good. I like most anything set in South Louisiana, anyway, long as it's not too far out.

Have you tried any publishers with it?

I see your in North Carolina. The opening of the book takes place in Waynesville. We passed throught Cataloochie Mountain years ago and I fell in love. I always knew that if I ever wrote a book, I'd have to include it.

Thanks! The Light of Asteria is a young adult fantasy that I wrote for my daughter. She loved it and her friends wanted a copy, several revisions and a whole lot of prayer later and voila! Here I am talking to you fine people on a site I would have never found otherwise. I love the way life works :-)
