Good morning, Ms. Guthrie: Yes, the Other Side and Spirit Communication are very real. But there are strict protocols, which many do not yet apparently understand. Perhaps your time has come. If so, you (and anyone who reads this post) may call me in NYC at 516-813-9900 between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., EDST. Ask for "the Teacher". Or, if you prefer, go to wemsa.net.
I would be happy to talk with you Amaal. I so appreciate your comments. My phone is 970-586-2290. I live in Estes Park, CO which is on mountain time. I'm trying to think what would be the best time to talk. Today, the 8th, around 4:30 my time, or Friday the 11th about 3:00 p.m. might work. Otherwise, next week any afternoon from 2 - 4 looks good. How does that work with your schedules?
Which reminds me, I haven't received your book yet, and I think I ordered it about April 15. Shall I check with the website? I do know that it took my book almost a month to get to VA to a customer. So I'm sure it will come soon. I look forward to reading it and talking with you. Margaret
No, I haven't explored spirit visitations in dreams, Ariadne, but certainly sounds plausable. I'd be interested to hear of others experiences along this line. I think my next novel is going to deal with a travelling yogi, in the U.S., and some of the reactions, much like Jesus travelled from village to village and disturbed the people. I think some of the religious notions perpetrated today need shaking up. But of course, with love. Thanks for your comment. MG
Hi Margaret,
Have you explored the topic of spirit visitations in dreams? Dreams are the most common way the dead communicate with loved ones still on earth. And often the visitation is meant to help the bereaved reconcile their loss. Your book sound wonderful.
Mr. Rosen asks about my views on spirit communication. Though I don't have personal experience with the dead communicating with me, I have read many accounts of persons who do have this "gift" and I certainly believe that it happens. I am familiar with Paramahansa Yogananda's Autobiography of a Yogi and his other works and use his techniques of meditation that he has dissiminated through Self-Realilzation Fellowship. The people he talks about in the AY are Masters of yoga, and, like Jesus, knew the higher spiritual laws that permit many things that to us are astonishing. So I used some of his descriptions about the Other Side and my own imagination and desire to have persons who have been hurt and those who have hurt them come to a reconciliation. I do believe this life is one of many that I have lived. Reincarnation and karma go together and I spend some time with that in The Return. I like to look at a broader picture than what we see and hear around us. I hope that The Return will jog the reader out of complacency that our physical senses is all there is. I believe there is much, much more. I also want to promote reconciliation and forgiveness and the reacognition that blame and revenge do damage to the soul, or the personality, and that our society would be better off if we could see "that of God in everyone," as the Quakers do. And as yogi's do. And the Amish. And others. So nice to have your comments. Margaret Guthrie
Hello, Margaret. Your book sounds intriguing, laced with an unusual imagination. What are your own views on spirit communication and such. I'm just curious and, of course, would understand if you'd rather not talk about that. If you do believe in such, however, then I wonder what lead you to do so.
It's amazing how many people have Chicago ties. Anyway, I just discovered this site while e-mailing someone else about my book site.

I'm off this week from school. I'm working on a Power Point presentation of Two Princesses. I am hoping to expand my presentations to middle and high schools. Take care.
Margaret,
One suggestion. I just went to bookline.com to buy your book. It was not easy to find you book and they are charging 6 bucks for shipping. As an Amazon Advantage your customers pay less or free for shipping, making it more desireable. Check it out and I will tell you what I think of your book. Lorne
There is a murder a foot. How exciting! I love a good murder mystery. I am looking forward to reading you book. Cheers and thanks for the friend request. Lorne
OK. I think I'm beginning to catch on to these chatter boxes. Hey, is that meant to be funny? Cheryl explained that she blocks messages somehow before it shows? But this morning I've sent a couple of chatters, saved them, and its been fine. M.G.
Re: I just tried to post a comment to Cheryll Kaye Tardiff regarding her article on belief in self, but it wouldn't post. How come? I wanted to tell her that her article is right on. Belief in self is what The Secret is telling us. That is the law of attraction. We bring to ourselves what we visualize and concentrate on. When I tried to add the post, it brought up a box to save (to my pictures; I don't want that) a hook to internet, but I already had that, or to cancel. Can you help with this problem? Thanks. Margaret Guthrie
I'm not sure why you had that problem. I'm not sure where you were on the website. You can always add a chatter to Cheryl's page like I've done here.
Ok, Margaret now you got me and I have to check out your book -- it sounds like a great read! I had meant to contact you once I read your poetry in the forum and so I shall now and wish you the very best!
The Return was published by Wessex Collective and their distributor if The Book Link. So the only website where my book is listed is www.thebooklink.com and it is new. I've sent out emails to all my friends and family notifying them of The Return, what it is about - I vary that from time to time, trying to find the right audience - and where is can be purchased. I also belong to the Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers, a group of about 400 authors, but they're mostly romance, vampire, mystery writers. And my notification to them, by email, brought zero interest.
I guess one question is, even with a website, how do you get people interested ins looking at it, then interested enough to buy a book. Margaret G.
Your book sounds interesting. Along with my non fiction books that are published, my sister and I wrote some romances, and sent them out to Harlequin but they didn't fit there....I think we had too many characters and story lines. We had three story lines in most stories....I may publish some of them myself....once I sell some of my own books.
