The best method of marketing my books varies from book to book. Overall I'm trying to stir one of those "intangibles" or word of mouth sales. It's the most effective over and over. It comes from creating an excellent book, then repeatedly getting the word out.

I have a lot of questions about agents and how to find one that will represent a slightly left of center children's books that doesn't quite fit into any traditional format. To get published or even looked at by traditional publishers you need an agent, which isn't easy to find. So saying that, I'm open to any and all suggestions

I guide authors towards getting their books published, sometimes that means they want an agent to represent them. What kinds of material do you prefer to represent? Do you ever work with publishers of coffee table style books?
