'Growing Forward'

I am a first-time author! I have just self-published my first book 'Growing Forward', which tells the story of my childhood in a fundamentalist Christian cult in England during the late 1950's and early 1960's. I escaped from the cult alone in 1973, aged 17, and the book goes on to tell my story as I found my feet in the 'real world', recounts the mistakes I made and the different steps I took. When I was 19 I found myself in Borstal (young offenders institution) and I had testicular cancer aged 23.

The book is available from my website www.grahamfrost.com/book and is also available internationally on Amazon Kindle. I am writing the follow-up to 'Growing Forward' and am planning a visit to Canada and possibly the U.S. in 2012 to promote the book.

I have found that I enjoy the process of writing! I am 55 and this is the first time I have written seriously since leaving school in 1973. I would encourage everyone to express themselves in this way.
