Pay It Forward

I admire established authors who "pay it forward;" in other words, who use what they've learned, and the contacts they've made along their own road to publication, to encourage and support aspiring authors. I've had the privilege of meeting some of them both in person and online and I'm grateful to them.

In this dog-eat-dog world, with the state of the economy and the constant changes in the publishing industry, it's easy for first-time novelists to become discouraged. So, when I encounter someone who is willing to go the extra mile to help a struggling writer, it warms my heart.
