Hello Published Writers!

My name is Nicole Trist and I write a book review blog called Books, Books Everywhere where I write all about the books I am reading, I run giveaways, I conduct author interviews and I do reviews on request.

If you would like me to review your book just come and have a look at the blog, email me a synopsis of your book and I will reply asap.

NB. I do not accept eBooks for review and reviews can take up to 6 weeks to be featured on the blog once the book has been received, depending on how many requested reviews are in the works.

Cheers!

Hi Ann.
Welcome to the club. I find it interesting to meet people who, unlike non-fiction folks, get to mentally travel to a different time and place of their choice. The people I meet there are amazing. What is interesting is that I don't create them--they are already there--waiting to be found.

Hi Vangie.
What are you doing to promote the book?

My name is Vangie WIlliams and I live in King George, Virginia. I have written Broken Life - A fight for Forever - Book 1 (10 book series). This book covers several lanes of history in 1844. I love history which lead me to write my novel that includes several unknown points of eastern American history.

My book Broken Life - A Fight for Forever is about love cursed in Old Africa. A young African maiden falls in love with a Frenchman captured by her father's warriors. As she watches and cares for him over the next twenty-one days, she is captivated by his beautiful green eyes and his genuine smile and breaks tribal law when she asks her father to be his bride instead of her chosen husband. Her father King Sundiata could not refuse his youngest daughter and allows her to leave Africa with the Frenchman; what she doesn't know is that the tribal shaman has placed a curse on her and all of her female descendants. "21 suns you feel in love and left your people, 21 moons shall you love your girl child".
Jump forward to our time and young Bethel began having dreams of African and French women who speak to her and show her the paths of their lives.

Broken Life - A Fight for Forever - Book 1 is about Marguerite, the third women in her dreams and the woman who writes the first entry in the journal that her deceased mother left her. Her dreams are so vivid that she is a shadow watching the past in the future.

This is a romantic tale of steamy passion and boiling fervor, which also wraps itself in the arms of virtually unexplored history. Moreover, this zeal-filled story crosses time, racial, cultural lines as well as the vast Atlantic. From generation to generation, a special lineage of rare love is interrupted, entwined lives are broken, and fragile dreams are shattered because of an unrelenting curse rooted in the motherland. Yet, the rigorous fight to break the curse's menacing grip steadily climaxes as young Bethel gains wisdom through her visions as well as the truths spoken from her father’s reluctant tongue. And then there is the cherished wooden box, a treasured but mysterious heirloom, which connects Bethel to both the curse and a counter to the same. Upon possessing the box, she discovers the nearly elusive path to victory. Through a series of visions, which first take her to the mid 1800’s, she sees the way…

A Hook. Some people read Historical Fiction for the pure entertainment value, enjoying escape to another time and place. Unfortunately, that's not enough for others. They are looking for a "message" or a link to today's problems.
Our job is to sell both ideas.
