Hello everyone, I've just joined your group and hope there maybe someone with some experience/knowledge about teachers selling their own work in their school. I've just self-published my first book and I'm expecting the delivery tomorrow, so I'm quite excited as I'm sure you can all remember. I intend to sell my book to raise funds for my school and wondered if there was anyone who could advise me as I don't want to find further down the line that I'm taking advantage of my position as a teacher. I've started a discussion as you can see.

Hi Brits! I have just found this web site. I 'know' some of you from elsewhere. I hope to be able to contribute occasionally. Right now my latest book, 'Still Waters Run Deep, stories of hidden depths,' is about to be released. (My home site gives details of my books and publishing site). I have given up trying to spin my way to sales and am quite content to sell the odd hundred or so. But I like to support others.

Hi everyone,

If you are interested in joining a UK Crimewriters network head over to http:ukcrimewritersnetwork.ning.com

It does what is say on the tin!

I am hoping to build a hub for UK Crimewriters where we can work locally and regionally to promote our books through book signings and other events. It a cool place too!

Hello fellow UK authors, it's nice to have our own corner of the web.

My first book, Utamaro Revealed, came out very recently so I am very new to all this, but I'm eager to learn and look forward to exchanging ideas.

All the best,

Gina

Hi, I live in Kelso in the Scottish Borders. I write articles and short stories for magazines, but I recently had my debut novel published by Austin & Macauley Ltd.

My novel is called The Trojan Project and is a thriller. It seems to be doing ok on Amazon, (some great reviews up there) but I'm sure you will appreciate that you can never get enough publicity. Therefore, I would love you guys to check it out either on Amazon.co.uk or on my website - www.eileenthornton.co.uk

Cheers!
