    Hello Mark David,

Interesting websites. I don't read much fantasy. Your workshops looked interesting and I noticed you included a self-publishing Amazon link from a Dan Poynter book. If you are interested, you can join my affiliate program for free: www.terryinfo.com and lead people to the ebook version of my Book Proposals That Sell. If someone buys it, then I send you 50% of the money--way better than anything Amazon has going. Something to think about. I know the book is helping people and has over 70 Five Star reviews on Amazon.

Fascinating websites. Good work. Keep it up.

Thanks, Mark. And glad you signed up for the mug contest. (And I LOVE Santa Fe!)

Speaking of teaching spirituality, I just had a short, non-fiction true story of mine published in the new anthology published by Loving Healing Press called The Story That Must Be Told: True Tales of Transformation. The book is inspirational in nature. Might want to check it out, might be a good source for your teaching. You can get it through Amazon, Loving Healing Press, or from a link on my web site. I don't get any royalties, can just buy the books and resell them.

    Your true fantasy sounds fascinating!

    Mark David,
Yet another opportunity to thank you and praise your unique skills as a writing "coach," for lack of a better word. Your ebook, Voice of the Muse: Answering the Call to Write, and your private sessions are nothing less than magical! Birthing my book was easy after receiving a private writing session from you.
    Many blessings my friend!

Although I don't have any Cajun blood in my veins, the Cajun dirt is probably still between my toes! After being born and reared in Cajun country, you feel like you are one, especially since some of my family members married Cajun spouses, etc. It is indeed a colorful heritage. Lucky you for living in the birthplace of the culture. There is an earthiness about the folk that truly inspire me!

You asked if Grassroots Marketing for Authors and Publishers will be useful to fiction writers. Yes, definitely. I'm married to a novelist. I will say that probably nonfiction writers will find more in the book, but you should find plenty. As one example: the sample press releases include three novels and a children's book.

Of course - writing is one of the best reasons to be anti-social when you don't feel like going out..."I have to go work on my book..." :)

I checked out your book -- it sounds like a good read for my beach vacation at the end of the month! Good luck with it!

Hello Mark, I am working on layout by hand with some tweaking to go. It is getting exciting. I am committed to getting a test version to market in September.

How are sales. Sorry I could not get to join you for your books signing last week, I was at a healers event. You should talk with Suzann Owings about speaking to the Santa Fe Salon some time. It is normally a small group 10-15 people but all very interested in various aspects of healing. If you are interested her email is so@docso.com . Next time you are in town, come past for tea.

Hi Mark, I checked out the photographs on your website, they are quite stunning and beautiful. You have a profound love of nature as well! I certainly would love to see your poetry and consider it for my next edition. I spent the last month on that edition, now back to writing poetry & taking more photographs! I'll be putting out the call for submissions in late December/early January, so definitely send me some. Thanks so much for your interest and for the friendship!
    Colleen
  • Colleen Breuning

Oh, my mistake - I thought you were talking about submitting poetry. But that's a great idea about putting your photos up - I could add a page under photography with your name on it & your photos. It sounds good to me! I had my son write the Javascript to create the drop down navigation bar for the poets, I could have him create one for photography as well. I won't be doing it again until late December, though. So let's talk more about it then, Mark. Thanks!
    Have a fantastic weekend~

    Hi Mark:

I am responding to your questions and will do so one at a time here. Hope this explains everything for you.

Are you charging for your reviews?

If I write a review for you specifically for Jean Lauzier's "virtual book tour" there is no cost to you. Jean is a member here on the Book Marketing Network.

However, if you'd like me to write a review for Amazon, this network and any other sites, the cost is $15.

Are there types/genres you don't like to read/review?

I read all kinds of books and in so doing, put myself fully into reading it so I can provide the best review possible.

Do you also post your review on Amazon (if so requested by the author?)

    Yes, as noted above.

    Take care,
    Martha

Your books sound great. My son would love MoonQuest. I'm teaching a creative writing course this spring at a local college, so I'm quite interested in what you have to say about your own teaching. Best of luck.

Mark, thanks for inviting me to visit, your books sound wonderful. I am certain I would enjoy them, do you have either in audio yet? I am so busy that sitting and reading time is just not available but when I drive to shows, I listen to audio books, and I love fantasy and activists, so your work will speak to me on many levels.
My book GreeHee The Journey of Five - Tales of Tamoor is about loving who you are, as you are, and knowing that being different is a gift to the world. It is also a fun, fast ride with an exceptional dragon and his unusual fairy and giant friends.
Sending hugs to another creative soul,
    Michele
