In 2004, I sat down and wrote the introduction to my first book. Two years later, "Are You Ready to Be Your Own Boss?" was in print fulfilling the need for new business owners to achieve success.

I am a retired business owner, mom of two awesome kid’s, and since 2006 have authored six additional non-fiction books including, “A Book Inside, Writing, Publishing, and Selling your Story” (2008), and “Stress Relief for the Working Stiff, How to Reverse the Embalming Effect” (2008), republished as Keep Your Sanity in 2010.

I have published several e-books as well, including, How to Organize a Virtual Book Tour  and 100 Ways to Market Your book for Free (or really cheap).

I share my writing and publishing experience with forthcoming authors through my blog, “A Book Inside” at http://abookinside.blogspot.com. In addition, I have built and maintain nine websites devoted to promoting the books of first-time authors.

I am the creator of "Writer's Gift Shop," an online gift store for writers, authors, and poets at http://www.writersgiftshop.com.

My personal Website is at http://www.authorsbox.com.

I live with my husband Craig on a small farm near the southern coast of Oregon. In retirement, I enjoy golf, fishing, and of course, writing! I am also an active patient volunteer and fund-raising coordinator for South Coast Hospice in North Bend as well as a member of several writing communities.

Oh, thank you for the sites you gave to promote our books.
I joined another one. It's not free but only charges $25 "per year." It's www.booksinsync.com. Look it up.
