I have published 19 books and around 175 articles. Currently, I am working on a middle-grade paranormal mystery/adventure series called The Phantom Hunters. Each book in the series takes the main characters and the readers to a different culture. The first book, The Lost Treasure of the Golden Sun, came out in late 1995, and is set on the Navajo Nation. The second book, The Secret of Blackhurst Manor, will be coming out next spring, and is set in Lincoln, England. Each book is accompanied by a teacher's guide/activity book that includes word games, puzzles, research projects across the curriculum.
We've finished the teacher's guide and the student workbook, and now all that remains is to write our short book on writing short stories. This will be for the use of the person conducting the creative writing course that we plan to sell at the California Homeschool Network show at the end of this month. I'm excited!
We finished the writing program and it was a blast! We created a book of the kids' short stories that will be in the school library. As we conducted the class, we developed a teacher's guide, student workbook, and PowerPoint slides. Now we are polishing these into a creative writing course that we can sell to homeschool parents.
I just got a contract to develop and conduct a 16-session fiction writing program for 5th and 6th grade GATE (Gifted) kids at a nearby school. My colleague and I have the program outlined, since it starts on the 21st, but I wondered if anyone had any cool ideas we might incorporate. I look forward to hearing from you!

On the page titled Chapter One. go to the bottom of the right side of the page (past "What They're Saying") and there is a button to View Photo Album. Click that and it should take you to the photos.
No one has ever asked about my Miniature Horses before. guess I could post some pictures on my website so give me a couple of days and check it out again. Thanks.
