Royalties anyone?
It's been a couple of years since I signed that contract with the publisher of Irma Quarterdeck and I am yet to see a penny of royalties, not even a report of no sales.SO much for all that hard work in revising for the second edition. At least the first publisher paid a nice advance that financed a trip to Florida. The new publisher payments wouldn't buy a local bus ticket downtown.
I now have 19 books still in print and frankly I do best with www.lulu.com the on line printer. No middle man, no vendors, just me and my printer, and no bookstores. tra la.

I didn't have any trouble getting onto my site - just takes too long, really, but it did open up. Somewhere I read about a free place to set up a website but I have misplaced the info. Being free, it may or may not be worth the effort.
Thanks for your comment and for accepting my friend request. Looking forward to networking with you.
