I didn't think they were the same, I was just pointing out the fact there is an organization out there who is very supportive. Do read the newsletter--it's a way for members to get more promotion.

And if you haven't heard what the big mystery cons are doing, be sure to read my blog. Unless you're published by an approved MWA publisher you won't get to be on a panel at some of these cons. PSWA will never do that.

Take a look at what PSWA's conference has to offer.

On the website for you group I couldn't find anyway for other police writers to connect, or I would have let our members know about it (most are active law enforcement or retired).

I didn't know there was such a website. Did you know that there is an organization for public safety writers? Public Safety Writers Association http://www.policewriter.com

In April, PSWA is having a writers conference that you might consider attending. Every author will have the opportunity to give an elevator pitch about his or her book and you may bring your books for sale.
