Something About Me and My Book:
Hello lovely people. I am a retired teacher and new author of a children's book.I have been truly blessed and find joy in promoting and marketing my "baby". I wish tremendous success to you all!
"It’s Crunch Time!”, is a new children’s book by Marie Brewer Found on www.borders.com (www.helenbrewer.com for excerpts ) is my book of muscle for boys (ages 9-12) to point them in the direction of HOPE!...This is an interactive book where they can write about their feelings. It discusses acceptable behavior, honesty, good self-image, respect for females and animals, appreciation for teachers/school, choosing good friends. The book also talks about resisting gangs, guns, drugs, violence, alcohol and bad influences. Let's attack the behavior, not the boy. This sounds like a wonderful tool to use to prepare our boys for the Great works they are destined to do! I will check it out and see if I can implement it into our youth ministry to encourage more reading among the kids to on up the lines of communications thus bridging the generational gap . Stay Bless!

Marie,

Thanks for your comments on my page, Congrats on your literary success. At least two things tell me you are a special person: You are a fellow-Texan, and your name is Marie.
