New Book’s Simplified Leadership Principles Benefits Those Seeking to Excel in Tough Times
March 17, 2009,– In our struggling economy, the negative impact of a dwindling market has forced many people into survival mode. Professional speaker and author, L. Diane Wolfe, has witnessed this trend in those who attend her seminars. Aware of the need for encouragement, as well as leadership and people skills, Wolfe devised a way to reach those outside…

The soul within seeks comfort and peace, and the story of a lifetime is now ready to be told in this, the haunting and compelling autobiography of author Jessica Angélique. The flag is normally called the "Union Jack" because it represents a union of count - England, Ireland, and Scotland and Wales. The flag does not include a flag from Wales because Wales was never ruled in the same way that the other countries were ruled. It is called as a Principality.
Actually it shouldn't be called the "Union Jack", because a jack is a flag that is flown on a jack staff which is a small flag pole on the back of a…

I received a message yesterday from my friend, Jo, in Texas. She is scheduled to have her head shaved next week. She has volunteered to do this in an effort to raise money for St. Baldrick's childhood cancer research. She has less than a week to go to reach her goal of $2000. So far, she has about $1100. I think it's an incredible thing she is doing.
I'm sharing this because I'm so impressed when people give this much of themselves. Although I'm not quite ready to have my head…

Can your book be used in the classroom. Can it be used to teach math, science, solcial studies, reading, and writing at different grade levels. It started on April 6, 1994...
The Rwandan genocide that occurred in the spring and summer of 1994 was a mind-bogglingly brutal 3-months-long massacre. At the time, most of us knew little about it. Since then, we've seen movies, like Hotel Rwanda and Sometimes in April, which provided sanitized and summarized views of the events. Still, it behooves us, as human beings, to understand what factors caused this tragedy to occur in modern…

Across the Pond - Sunday March 15th Blog
Sunday is sport day, firstly the NY Rangers finally found how to score on a power play. It has taken them most of the season, and the fact that Avery scored twice is something. And I don’t mean scored as with a woman, for which he is of course more famous.
Today is also the day I catch up on the British sport, thank goodness for SETANA. I now can see more British Soccer and Rugby than if I were still in England.
After…

I recently received notification of an opportunity for Christian authors to submit their stories (see below) to what will eventually be a series of 12 books! It is a great chance to have your story on prayer heard.
If you are an author, you may wonder why you would want to spend the time submitting to anthologies where you are just a contributor? I've been in a few and have found it fun to be a part of the books!
In my book…

When Night Falls
When night falls, do you have a place to lay your head?
Or do you search for a cubby hole or a card board box to crawl into?
Maybe you’re blessed enough to have relatives or friends,
Or maybe you’re not.
While it is day, it’s okay
You can walk the streets or seek shelter in a mall or restaurant.
But when night falls,
It’s natural to find a place to lie.
While others are going into their abodes and shutting the…

The Storm before the Calm
Sirens blowing
People rushing
Horns blowing

Body parts
Whole bodies
Guard dogs
Crack vials
Window bars
Car alarms
Cries for help
Pit bulls
Homelessness
Don’t care
Couldn’t car
Stray bullets
Ambulances
Emergency rooms
Body bags

On time
Too late
The world is sick and is in need of a…

Caged
Freedom to dwell wherever I tread
Not confined to locations with boundaries
Zoning, districts, busing
Unleash me so I can roam free
To see mountains and rivers and trees of all sorts
To open up and breathe in fresh air
Somewhere where the sky is not blocked
but in plain view
Uncage me so I can go FREE.

Holding On
Reaching, reaching I can’t stop now.
I have got to make it no matter how.
Stepping stepping, I’ve got to keep the pace
Grace, more grace to run this race.

How Do You Really Feel?
Good morning.
How are you?
I’m fine.
How are you?
Are you always fine when you say those words?
Or are you being repetitious in your everyday greetings.
If you stop to say how you really feel,
Your morning greetings might turn into evening goodnights.
