Time Out!

I've been a little relaxed this past week as my sister-in-law and other relatives have paid us a visit. Its been great having them around, because i didn't realise how much i needed them here.

I managed to put in about 1 hour's time into revising my novel, but i'm not putting any pressure on myself. When they go back home next week, i'll have to get my manuscript up to scratch, so that its finished before the end of the year.

Till next time....

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant,… Continue

Kristina Dalton, author and chief editor for Stonehedge Publishing, has carried out reviews of both Dracula Doesn't Live Here Anymore and an advance review of Kiss of Life, due for release in a few weeks. I'm delighted with what she had to say about the books.

Dracula Doesn't Live Here Anymore

This novella surprised me in that it packed a great deal of character and plot elements into a tight, fast read. I… Continue

A Story I Must Tell

This is a true Story, a true tale

The stranger was blessed beyond measure.

Moreover, a Story I must tell.

Now be still, get well, the Lord would whisper.

I did not understand.

I am not ill, I said with question.

Be still get well, He would whisper

Again, I did not understand the word.

Help me Lord, in my not understanding?

The Lord hard my cry,

An Angel descended from heaven

Dressed in white linen, carrying a silver… Continue

Of course, I didn’t know the title or the content at the time, but I knew that I was born to be a writer because I couldn’t think about anything else. If given the choice back then I would have chosen a pen to write with over a fork or spoon to eat with. (I have to admit that there are times when I still feel… Continue
