I've been a little relaxed this past week as my sister-in-law and other relatives have paid us a visit. Its been great having them around, because i didn't realise how much i needed them here.
I managed to put in about 1 hour's time into revising my novel, but i'm not putting any pressure on myself. When they go back home next week, i'll have to get my manuscript up to scratch, so that its finished before the end of the year.

HOW ARE YOU SABOTAGING YOUR DEEPEST URGINGS, HIGHEST PURPOSE AND GREATEST DESIRED LONGINGS? You MUST understand THE SCIENCE OF DESIRE! The science of desire states that for every desire you have, you also have an equal and opposing subconscious fear which blocks the desire!
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant,… Continue

Dracula Doesn't Live Here Anymore

The stranger was blessed beyond measure.
Moreover, a Story I must tell.

I did not understand.

Be still get well, He would whisper
Again, I did not understand the word.
Help me Lord, in my not understanding?
The Lord hard my cry,
An Angel descended from heaven
Dressed in white linen, carrying a silver… Continue

It took twenty-three and a half years, but I finally did it! I finally hosted my first book discussion/signing for the novel that I knew that I would write (at the age of five years old). Of course, I didn’t know the title or the content at the time, but I knew that I was born to be a writer because I couldn’t think about anything else. If given the choice back then I would have chosen a pen to write with over a fork or spoon to eat with. (I have to admit that there are times when I still feel… Continue
