Going to Vancouver Island

In a few weeks, I'll be going to Vancouver Island for a week of rest, writing and relaxation. Victoria is the main city and there are a lot of areas to preserve the natural environment, whale watching, bear watching, etc. Last year I spent some time in Maine, and the websites do remind me a bit of Bar Harbor and Mount Desert Island.

Does anyone have any suggestions on places to go/things to see on Vancouver Island?

Feeling motivated and Positive!

So, i took the Promo Day conference and came away with tons of information, which i hope to put into action, so that my books can be published. I'm reading, reading and reading, wanting to absorb as much as i can.

The funny thing is, right about now my brain is slow and my eyes are slowly closing. I wonder if a couple hours of shut eye would be my solutions?

A part of me is dying to sleep (figuratively) and the other part is telling me not to waste any more time and to pull myself… Continue

PurpleUmpkin- A new classic for Children

There is a little planet next to Pluto called PurpleUmpkin. We the folks that live there are Murples. We are the makers of Purples. It is a book for Children young and old. Parents and adults read it to Children when they are young, and about the age 5 or 6 and up, the Children read it back to parents. The pictures and colors are wonderful and great for early child development.

The book is about kindness, tolerance, understanding and love of others. The President's family book. It is… Continue
