Something About Me and My Book:
I am the author of "The Shenandoah Spy" a Civil War thriller about Confederate Army spy and scout Belle Boyd and the role she played in Stonewall Jackson's Valley Campaign in 1862. Belle was the first woman in American history to be formally commissioned an army officer. MY NEW BOOK is "The Queen of Washington", and is about Rose Greenhow and based on the idea that she may have already been a spy fr the French and British even before the Mexican War.

I blog from time to time at Jerry Pournelle's Chaos Manor blog and Joe Wikert's Publishing 2020 blog and other places. I haven't time to maintain my own blog so I do drive-by commentaries instead.

I have a free podcast of a talk called "Belle Boyd and the Confederate Secret Service", a talk I gave at the West Coast Civil War Roundtable Conferenceon November 8, 2008.
. It's 37 minutes long and is available a lot of places including the Brass Cannon Books web site

My novel "The Shenandoah Spy" can be purchased at the web site, but also at any general bookstore and on Amazon.com, which has the best price most of the time.
