I Had To Ask: What Is Dystopian Literature? L.W. Rondeau Sets Me Straight!

What is Dystopian Literature?

When I set out to write the America II trilogy, I wasn’t thinking in terms of a genre, especially not a genre within a genre. Sci-fi-speculative-futuristic-political-thriller-dystopian and all those labels were something I hadn’t anticipated. Miss Boudreaux and The Bum

During Nicholas's journey, the reader finds that he is being fostered by Miss Boudreaux.  When I was writing this novel, I sometimes contemplated, "What if The Bum never moved in with Miss Boudreaux?"

Would Nicholas stay until legal age and take care of his foster brothers and sisters? Or, would he run away regardless and start a new life?  It's hard to say, because if you've read the story, Miss Boudreaux's love interest, aka "The Bum" is the catalyst for…

A GIFT TO MANKIND.....A KING WHO WALKED AMONG US

A GIFT TO MAKIND…. A KING WHO WALKED AMONG US

Spoken of by the prophets 2,000 years before his birth.  Being sent to a lost and dying world to set right what Adam had failed to do.  A plan by Almighty God to restore your relationship with himself.  The ’cornerstone’ which would become the stumbling block to many.

Where is the Messiah? …

When to give up?

Nobody ever said it would be easy. Nobody ever said it was always going to be fun. Nobody promised me that after spending twenty-plus years holed up in my office writing novels that anyone would ever read them. Nobody promised me anything would ever come of my writing and yet I still do it. Day after day, year after year, I sit in front of this keyboard and tap out the characters and worlds inside my mind. To date, I think I have more than sixty unique, fully-fleshed characters in all twelve…
