"I Love My Bad Guys"

I was lucky enough to be able to attend the International Festival of Authors in Toronto this year, the short drive across the Peace Bridge into Canada being yet another perk of living in Western New York. While there, I attended a roundtable discussion of the psychology of the villain in contemporary fiction. The formal title of the roundtable was “Psycho-babble – Inside the Character’s Twisted Mind.” The panel included such heavyweights in crime and thriller fiction as John Connolly, Jeffery… Continue

Self Care Actions

Action Challenge:

Use a daily planner or a calendar to schedule in some personal time for yourself. If it is written down somewhere where you will see it, you are more likely to do it. Schedule personal time for yourself on a daily, weekly, monthly and yearly basis. You can start out with small 5-10 minute blocks of time or schedule larger blocks of time. Holiday Help

An Awesome Advance Review of 'Pestilence'

Australian publisher, author and reviewer Lutz Barz has kindly sent me an advance review of 'Pestilence' which he has recently undertaken and which will soon be published by Literature-Review.com and in other journals he writes for. Weaver Woman

Introductions are generally hard for me. Something about "hello, I'm Tichaona. I'm a poet who has written and published two books of my poetry; am embarking on the path of running my own publishing company and under the banner of that company (Whirlwind Publishing) have published two authors, A. Shakur Towns and Abena Isake" leaves me incoherent. Therefore, before I start dissembling, let me introduce you to my literary concept of self:
