I've been playing around with http://visibletweets.com today. You can link it up to your tweets and make a nice display for a bookstore or somewhere. Would love to hear from anyone who has used this effectively.
Anyway, go to www.visibletweets.com and type in #sklopfer/civil-rights and I made a display about my book, Who Killed Emmett Till? Not completely sure I've done this right, but it worked.… Continue

Cushing-Malloy specializes in producing only books. In the business over 60-years I recently used this company for my new title: "The Love He Saved" and I highly recommend them to all. (See below) the magnificent services they offer and the Customer Service is quick and spontaneous. For what they do in the industry - "I was treated like I was the only customer."
Cushing-Malloy, Inc. is one of the founding printers in the Ann Arbor area,… Continue

I'm thrilled to be a guest on Sylvan Dell Publisher's Blog. My article titled, "Brightly Colored Feathers Are for the Birds!" is featured today. Please click on this link and take a look.…
It would be fair for me to say I'm a little bit clueless right now. Not a feeling I enjoy, as I generally consider myself a fairly smart guy and knowledgeable in more than a few areas. What's more, I've written several novels now, albeit many of them are of questionable quality. Others, not so questionable - they just plain sucked.
But now what? I've had three books accepted for publishing, yet none have come out yet and I'm not convinced that the publisher is going to do much for… Continue

Oh, how we love to bash Eve for succumbing to temptation – but don’t we all struggle with that one? Satan does not tempt us in generalities. He is far too clever for that. He likes to pick out something specific to hone in on. Take discontentment, for example. He will tell you that you deserve so much more, or maybe something better, and of course, that one particular thing you don’t have. He just aimed his poison dart at your “pride” and you fell for… Continue
Have you ever longed to "star" in your own short story? Is there a long lost friend or family member you wish you could see again? Do you have a secret dream you would love to have come true?
I am offering to write a short "wish fulfillment" story for anyone who is willing to provide me with the inspiration and information needed.
Meet my girl, Just Breeze, tween/teen novel from 4 RV Publishing. Thanks, Aidana, for the perfect cover. It is so Breeze. She has her own blog, too. http://justbreeze.wordpress.com. Stop by for a visit. Breeze loves to talk.
I'm over the moon today, because my book 'Tilly's Tale' written under my Harry Porter name was released this morning by 4RV Publishing. 'Tilly's Tale' is the first book in my 'Harry Porter's Dog tales' series and sets out to tell Tilly's life story in her own words, beginning with the appalling story of her early life and ending with the love and happiness she has found since being rescued and coming to live with me and my family. She's an incredibly talented dog who has become… Continue

Hi Everyone, I give this story * * * * * (5 stars)
I recently read this new novel, Night Hunter, and it's fangtastic. Definitely different than many vampire stories I've read. It was written by one of my favorite up-and-coming authors, Laura Shinn and takes a look at what can happen when a sexy male vampire, too lonely to live, meets a human with a loving, kind… Continue

I attended an entrepreneur's meeting today for "entrepreneur supporters" (consultants, etc.) and got so discouraged (disgusted), I took my freebie flash drive, coffee cup and pen and left early.
Why do some people find it necessary to put limits on others?
The speaker kept talking about "youth" and how much better young people are at using the Internet and being entrepreneurial. I say "bull-puckey"! It's so silly to categorize people and it is dehumanizing. I was not in… Continue
Yesterday I was interviewed on the radio that will air on Sunday, Nov 8th on a local FM station called WASH FM. The host was Lori Brooks and she has a program on Sunday mornings (early) called "Women of Vision" and the interview went well. I was on her show just over a year ago and afterwards there was a big spike on the web site and I also got a call from this nice gentleman who told me to call this lady, because he knew she had a special dream. I did and it's one of my favorite stories in the… Continue
“The American Revolution – Redux” is a satirical look at the American political environment from tea parties and healthcare town hall meetings to a Presidential address to a joint session of Congress.
A new, popular and handsome President has been elected and immediately orders the implementation of Plan Anaconda, setting in motion his hidden agenda, to nationalize the American economy.
