Well, it’s nomination season and the gods have been good to me again–so good that I’m still reeling.
You remember last year when
The Reckoning of Asphodel was a Top Ten finalist in the Preditors and Editors Annual Readers’ Poll as Best Sci Fi/Fantasy Novel of 2007? This year has surpassed last year and I am literally gobsmacked.
The Gift of Redemption has been nominated by P&E for Best Science Fiction/Fantasy Novel of 2008.

I'd taunted my fans for months - and today, they finally got to read the big announcement concerning the future of my series!
Response has been really positive, although I am sure they are bummed that the final book won't come out until March 2010.
I also updated the site this past week with many new photos, articles and links, and I reorganized the pages.

JUST A FOUR LETTER WORD
Just a four letter word with powerful meaning
Something to hang onto when there is no rope left
Nothing tangible, nothing you can touch
Yet we cling to it, some for dear life
REALLY!
HOPE, the little four letter word
It has kept many holding on to it,
When there was no reason to trust its magic,
Nor its ability to keep them from falling
Can’t imagine the…

For those of you who do not know about my book, check out my website, www.fayetollison.com. I will be glad when I finish this because I am missing the writing I was doing on my second book, The Bible Murders. It is a spin off of my first book and has both the main characters of my first book. I've been so busy I haven't been able to keep up with…

Writing is a job - an atypical job - but still a job. I will stop at 5 p.m., just like any 9 to 5 worker. That's the only way the work gets don.
