Keeping Busy

I recently did an interview with Giovanni Gelati for his blogtalkradio to promote The Lost Queen. He invited me to do a short story together in order to give his readers and listeners a taste of The Empyrical Tales. The story is part of his Author's Lab Collaboration series. The G-Man has created a series of on-going stories with a variety of authors in a wide variety of genres. My installment is called "A Prince in Trenton, Seriously?" and is coming soon. I will post a link as soon as the… Continue

Worldly Temptations-Book 3- Nurse Hal Among The Amish-fiction

Here I go again with the next synopsis and first chapter of my Nurse Hal Amish series. This book is titled Worldly Temptations.

How would you like it if you were told you have to throw away your cell phone and sell your car? You probably wouldn’t. You don’t have worry because there is a telephone booth three miles away from your farm that resembles an outhouse. You can make business calls but not social calls to chat with a friend. That is reserved for visiting in person on church…

Writing in the Moment…

I recently discovered a new term “mindfulness” in my everyday life.  It basically means what it implies.  On one level it means paying attention to details of what’s going on around you at any given time, but on a much deeper level it brings your conscious awareness to a “moment-by-moment” basis. …

Exploring the Psychological Autopsy

One of the most interesting aspects of studying criminal behavior and criminology is finding out why and how criminals commit a specific crime.  It’s really the complicated task of finding out what makes an individual tick and hopefully learning more about their criminal…

Need help to convince publisher about e-book

I tried several times to convince the publisher of the 1st book in my series to convert it to an e-book. I'm looking at converting the rest of my series for Kindle, but without Allon Book 1, the series won't be complete.

I've asked for help for anyone who would like to see a YA fantasy in Kindle to go to the Amazon page for Allon Book 1 and click on the 'e-book request' button. Perhaps they'll listen to others.

Review of "The Poison of Thorns" by Robert Dennis Wilson

Well, with Christmas over, I finally got to sit down and finish reading Robert's novel. With working on possible book covers, I was pressed for time and was only able to read specific sections of the book in order to gain ideas for the cover art. I finally finished reading it.

Robert has crafted an inspiring story of how two brothers can suffer the same past, but end up following two separate life paths. The spiritual quality of this story is marvelous. As I read various chapters of…

October news from Pamela Swyers

October is bringing some gorgeous weather our way here in Georgia and I am eating it up. My favorite time of the year. October is also exciting because it will see the release of "Playing with Fire", the third Adison Taylor-Hall book in the series that began with "Boys with Cars". It is in the final stages of production and should be available for purchase well before trick-or-treating time. Buy it as a…
