If you read my previous post, you learned the details of an experience about a snake.

A reader brought up the point that this scenario could not have taken place because of strict Air Traffic violations/security/ strict laws about carry-on’s. And when clarifying this, my friend writes: “P. S. This story happened in the ‘70s and quarantine had been enforced after my friend was able to bring his "pets" home.”

Isn’t that like life? Rules change, different measures are taken because new fear sparks regulations, and limitations are put in place to ward off new dangers. Why? Because threats approach from all sides, and to add to the ugliness, finances dig anxiety, strength of the economy wanes, and even personal relationships can turn—sometimes causing pain.

And filled with tension, we rummage for reassurance in the things of the world, feeble and unreliable, but here’s the good news, really good news: God remains the same—trustworthy, faithful, loving, and powerful.

It’s us, who in moments of foolishness, have replaced the truth of His Word for lies the world tosses: entertainment will fill that void, more money will solve all, fun will cover pain, and distractions will bring deserving satisfactions. The sad thing is, it all can change quicker than lightening, and suddenly, none of that is enough.

So, no matter what changes come about when riding in the aircraft of life, we simply trust in the divine pilot. He took care of necessary inspections, and updates on the safety of our soul. Not only that, but security, trust and peace enhances the journey when riding in the security of His divine vessel.

Enjoy the ride and…"Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7).

When the pilot of life cares for you, life takes a new dimension; color and brilliant hues of joy paint our days. And that fact—no one can dispute or challenge!
