The Book Marketing Network

For book/ebook authors, publishers, & self-publishers

Is it just my imagination that every agent I query is simply too busy to listen to what I have to say. This also means that they are all making too much money to consider making any more. Maybe I should become an agent instead of write books.
I know that most authors have the same problem. You just have to keep on truckin' and not let it get to you. However, it should not be that way. All we want is to be heard by someone and not just brushed aside like some trash out there.
I know I can write good books because I have published three of them and have another one ready to be published. The key is the marketing. You can be a Earnest Hemmingway and write fifty books and only you will read them because the public knows absolutely nothing of you or your work.
I am not dogging the agents because they are all hard working and most of them are honest. I'm just saying there should be a better method of breaking that barrier.

Sorry, I just had to get that off of my chest.

Thanks for listening.

Wow. I had no idea. See that is why I joined this site. Thank you for the guidance and I will certainly look in that direction.
