I am a sad case. I love writing for the sake of writing and not selling. I began my writing career forty years ago when I really didn't have the time to do it, I was working four jobs at the same time which I have managed to do most of my life when I wasn't going to school in place of two of those jobs. When I retired, I was still bringing children into this world and decided to home school my youngest. This child like my others, began reading before age three. Home school doesn't offer a lot of good activities for youngsters unless the parents are willing to spend the time and effort it takes to make those activities work. I wrote short stories, longer stories and then books for my daughter to read and then eventually edit. That became her favorite activity and she was good at it. By the time she was ready for college having finished home school, a northern college offered her a full special scholarship for her to attend and she graduated number one in her class. Not bad for a kid that never saw the inside of a school before going to college. Need I add her major was English. I had to do something with all those books, so you guessed it, they are on the market. Isn't writing an interesting corner to be in. My daughter still editis my books and has married one of my other editors. Wow, I wonder if they will give me a discount? Dr Robert E McGinnis.

A difficult question. I get myself tied up in knots but it is good to be in company with others of like mind.

I have found them to be helpful. I have made some nice connections through them. Never leave a stone unturned is what I always say. Have a good week......

Am working on a memoir/family history, still in the planning and research stage. Thinking about the problem of finding the right publisher.

I am completing a new eBook about Ning and Twitter as a business model (due out by March 15). This details the use of ning with twitter and is documented with a client site that I am currently consulting on. Ning is an excellent choice for the new social media revolution.

I think the ning.com social networks have been helpful to me. I've seen a smattering of results that I would not otherwise seen.
