- If I were to ask, “Which are you, the optimist or the pessimist?”
How would you respond? Statistically speaking, most respondents
would affirm that he/she is the optimist. Realizing that most
prefer to see themselves in a positive light, affirming 'the
optimist' is a likely, and thus rather predictable, answer. But how
we see ourselves, ideally, quite often contradicts the reality
of our perception of self. It takes vision to see beyond that which
