Communication is a key component in human life and the world has been transformed by the ability to communicate more efficiently. Society has grown from oral communication, to written text, telephones, and now the power of the internet. It would seem as
communication technology increases such as the power of internet ready cell
phones that the world itself has been made a little smaller. Consider that 50
years ago it was impossible for 200 nations to chat simultaneously and now with
Twitter and Facebook whole nations are connected in each other’s languages
shooting the breeze about the daily news.
What if I told you today there was a social network so powerful that you
could chat in the throne room of Heaven from your living room in a matter of
seconds? What if God were to ask you can we talk?

The truth is that technology to speak to God in heaven has always existed it is called prayer. The beautiful thing about prayer that no matter where I am in the world I can instantly be in the presence of God
without even batting an eye. I could be in Canada and tell God about an
earthquake in Haiti and spiritually God is working in Haiti on my behalf even
though I never left Canada. Prayer is a direct line of communication between
man and God and it is made possible through Jesus Christ.

Before Jesus Christ gave his life as a sacrifice for our sins mankind and God were separated because of our sin. It was impossible for sinful man to speak to God directly so a high priest was appointed to offer
sacrifices and request to God for mankind. When Jesus died on the cross the
barrier between God and man was torn and mankind was forgiven of all his sin
past, present, and future. Jesus Christ reconciled God and mankind through his
sacrifice and now we can talk to God personally about whatever we choose. We
have a personal relationship with God and in any relationship communication is
important. In marriage communication makes or breaks a marriage and in a Family
situation communication builds the bond that can never be broken. Every
Christian is married to Jesus and God is our Father and communication should be
our primary focus. We should adore God in prayer, confess our faults to God in
prayer, thank God in prayer, and ask God to provide for us and others in prayer
because he wants to talk to you. After all we will be spending eternity with
God in heaven don’t you think it’s wise that we get to know each other
first.-Amen

Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red
like crimson, they shall be as wool.-Isaiah 1:18
