I've found illustrations by other artists that I would like to use, and when I contact the artist, I'm asked for my standard contract and the price I'm willing to pay. I'm VERY new at all this and have no contract - standard or otherwise - and have no idea how much is smart to pay or what the paperwork should state. I need advice as to how to deal with artists and illustrators. Can you assist me?
