Hey Frank

Thanks for the fast response - didn't expect that after so recently joining. Have been very busy over the past 2 months puting the finishing touches to my first book (it comes out on Sept.30th), so I should have more time to spend on the net from now on.

Thanks, Frank, for adding me!
Hope all is going well for me. I lived in Hollywood for nine years but have been back home in Chicago for quite a while. I miss that California weather! I'm jealous.

Thanks for the welcome Bill. My book is about using the Qur'an to overcome and resist all forms of oppression, injustice and racism. This is a subject not discussed enough.

Bill, I'm fairly new at this Ning thing, so I hope this is appropriate. I work for a small publisher that finds itself with an amazing first novel entitled Resurrecting Randi by David Shepherd. (www.resrandi.com). The book has been endorsed by both a Nobel and Pulitzer Prize winner, but we don't have the budget to give it the audience it deserves. So, we've created a Ning site (http://resrandi.ning.com) and almost 200 fans of this novel have joined in just the first few weeks. (They have to have read and enjoyed the novel!)

We have also dedicated some complimentary copies which people can request by filling out a form at our Web site.

Any ideas on how we can make that offer known through the Ning community?

Thanks.
