Hi John,

Thank you for your note! I'm actually in the beginning stages of writing my book and don't really have a lot to tell. It is going to be somewhat autobiographical with some "life lessons". Thanks so much! ~Sharon-Marie

Dear John, thanks for asking about my book.

It is a collection of humorous personal essays. My Writers Critique Group laughed, applauded, and then critiqued my readings. I'm greatly encouraged. Twelve essays are outlined, two of them are perfect, and the others are coming along.

I've studied books of short stories and humorous essays and though, "I can do as well... or better."

I wonder how it will all turn out?

All the best to you,

Karen Bain

Hello fellow Taoseño

Good to hear from you. We actually spoke briefly a couple of months ago or so. I work at Moby Dickens bookshop and ordered your 1001 Marketing book for the store and one for myself. Bushels of good stuff to study!

Hope we can meet one day, have coffee, wine or something

My books follow a couple consistent themes. (1) The function of individuals in a society is to make the lives of others as good as we can possibly make them, in every way. Economy, education, health, romance, faith, language, etc. I am adamant in my assertion that the economy functions best when the least wealthy people have the greatest support for building their personal economy. Love is the drive to make others lives as good as one can make them, no matter the cost. (2) I do not claim to know much theology. I only know I like this fellow, Jesus, and try to follow him wherever this leads. (3) The potential for free responsibility seems to exist most especially in the USA. However, many other nations are either on a par or very close with the USA. (4) I try to make my books as inexpensively as possible, and readable as possible. Many are posted at grade 3-5 reading level.

Hi John, Thanks for saying hi. I just started yesterday so don't know much about the site. I have a non-fiction Chirstisn book coming out in November so I'm excited. It's with CrossLink which is a traditional publisher. Thanks again.
Cindy
