RE: BOOKCOVERs for Rabbit: Chasing Beth Rider and Rabbit Legacy

Hi John!
My daughter and I are the artists there. I manage the paint brush and she manages the graphic arts. Man, I better learn how to use her photoshop program before she goes to college!

Did you see this one?

It was quite an undertaking to draw and cut out!!
Thank you for the compliment!

Greetings! I'm currently the illustrator for Kay Plumb's book The Human Shadow. I have two books of my own on the market right now: Phantastic Faeries and Dark Art, both published by David & Charles Ltd in England. I also illustrate the books of some authors and collaborate with others.

Hi there. Im Zaid. I recently published a book on Lulu entitled, "Salaam from South Africa". The problem Im having, which Im sure you might also be experiencing, is effectively promoting this book. My book link is http://www.lulu.com/product/hardcover/salaam-from-south-africa/11257301?productTrackingContext=search_results/search_shelf/center/1 There is also a downloadable version available. I have approached amazon.com regarding how I could get my book up on their website..but im currently still awaiting a response. I was wondering if perhaps you have any ideas as to how to effectively get my book out there? You can respond to this request or you can email me on zaid@hbzbank.co.za Il let you know the full lowdown on how my amazon.com experience went. Hoping to hear from you

I appreciate all the valuable and free information. The website links have helped me to network.
If I ever sell so many books that I can say, "I'm rich!" I'll pay you (some of what I owe you) back!

Hi John, What will happen to this group now that Ning are moving all accounts to paid membership, or deleting them? (Source: http://mashable.com/2010/04/18/ning-alternatives/)

Re: Golf Sonnets--I just started, but the response has been GREAT! People love the ironic humor and the "feel" of the book--like a 20-foot sloping putt that goes right into the center of the hole. Thanks for your encouraging comment, John. I really appreciate it!

Hi John! I got your newsletter as I was going to bed around 11:00 last night and got jazzed about your tip on the Lifetime TV Program "The Balancing Act". I put together an email describing my book with links to local TV and radio clips I've done and sent it off to Ken Levy. Less than 12 hours later I got a call from him. We have a phone appointment tomorrow to talk about my book. I'd give you a kiss if you were here john. I'll let you know how it turns out.
