Authors can create a recurring revenue model with eWorkshops.
Click for more information on our eWorkshop on how you can do this.
This is a great way to accentuate your book sales with a new product.
It also allows you to test new content to see how people react and find the best way to present ideas for your next book!

I was reading your review from Amazon...It just seems that one thing does not do it...It is constant effort without out stopping. YOu know movie stars are only as good as their last movie...Good luck..I am going to look it up... We all need marketing ideas so we should keep them flowing...Carol Stanley

Hi Linda,

Regarding contacting film industry....if you think trying to get a BOOK published is hard... :-)

I'd suggest looking for films similar to yours...perhaps by searches on imdb.com and contacting them about your book.

Good luck

Hi Linda

Very impressive "resume" you have. I worked for The Yak Works and Early WInters (which most people won't reconize but you might) and met a lot of the great climbers: Roskelly, Robbins, Messner, Whittaker.
(My main hero in the field was Bill Moss, though)

It looks like you might be able to either profit by or contribute to my new Self Publishing group here on BMN.
Please take a look, we're trying to build it into a resource for writers who prefer to be their own publisher.

Your story sounds beautiful but sad. I would love to do a trek like the one you lead some day.

I'm giving a talk on The Return on June 2 at the Estes Park library - either 2 or 3 p.m. I've asked Sandra to come. Maybe you could come with her and have your books with you, ready to sell? Can't promise many people will be there, but still, it would be nice to meet you. Still doesn't get you a movie deal, though. Margaret G

Linda,

I know many stories about the Sherpas. Trekking up through Katmandu is one of my (yet to do) quests. I better do it before the ole body get's to old!

I have always thought that it was horrible how the Sherpas are completely ignored. Look forward to reading your book.
